Thoracic Radiograph Review
Thoracic radiography is an important component of the assessment of many patients with suspected or known cardiovascular disease. Our cardiology-focused review interprets the submitted thoracic radiographs in the context of the patient's clinical presentation.
The review may include:
- Assessment of cardiac silhouette size and morphology
- Evaluation of the pulmonary vasculature
- Assessment for radiographic evidence of congestive heart failure
- Evaluation of relevant pulmonary abnormalities
- Differential diagnoses where appropriate
- Recommendations for further cardiovascular investigation or monitoring when indicated
